Does anyone have any suggestions to improve growth/flowering of those myrtle? It is in a south facing window. It's dropping leaves (dry crumbling) from the tips of the branches. I follow Planta's watering, fertilizing, and light schedule Thoughts?

Planta’s watering schedule can’t include everything in your environment that might affect the plant. So, use the watering notices as reminders to check the soil for dryness. Water if needed. Water more often if the soil gets too dry between watering. Dry leaf tips could also be a sign the humidity is too low. A humidifier might help. I have a 15+ years old crape myrtle tree in the backyard. I fertilize in spring by early May. It blooms starting in June. I use 13-13-13 fertilizer because I use the same on my Saint Augustine grass. A 10-10-10 should do fine. They like acidic soil like roses and azaleas. My tree is close to my neighbor’s pine trees that dump lots of pine needles providing sufficient acid to the tree. The plants are called June Rose in the Caribbean because of their blooming time. 🍀🪴

      What's an ideal acidity? It's currently 6.0.
