I have mine about 2 feet away from a south facing window and it is 6 ft tall. The best advice I got was once you find a good spot leave it alone. They don’t like to be moved around. Enjoy!

hopefully it will survive outside (i live in south florida so i don't see why not) but if not, it will have to be inside by a window!

Just make sure you don’t have it in direct sun. They sunburn easily.

Mine is really easy to care for, TBH! Also saved from Lowe’s— chills in an east facing window, loves getting misted and I rotate whenever it starts to lean any. I have had luck by just watering when I noticed the soil is dry or the leaves just barely begin to slouch. When it’s warm I take her to my east facing patio (fairly shaded) and that has always seemed to encourage new growth. I just did trial and error to get to know this plant and it’s gone pretty well for a few years now! Enjoy!!

ooh that's good news, i love that for you! our balcony is west facing but the building across the way blocks the majority of direct sunlight. i'll be sure to turn it when it starts to lean; thank you 😁

Here is mine I got as a two leaf cutting a few years back. I have her in a south facing window but it has a tree in front of it so the sunlight is pretty indirect. I do bottom water mine still and she doesn’t seem to mind getting moved, though I’ve also just bright a tray to where she sits and watered her there. I only water when it’s 90% dry. That may be a bit too infrequent because my leaves do get some small brown spots as they come in but it works for me. I also fertilize once a month all year long. This summer she dropped some of her lower leaves and her stem is getting hard and woody. I’m excited to see her become more tree-like. Good luck on yours! It already looks pretty good.😊

Its not in too bad of shape 😁 Has green leaves, no concerning dry brown bits on its leaves, it doesn’t have long bare bits on the stem where no stem/leaves aren’t growing 🤷🏻♀️ Ive noticed my fiddle fig curls its leaves in when its not getting enough light (dark vt winters- i need a grow light) i have mine not far from my humidifier too. I believe i have the kind that doesn’t get larger than a few feet? 🤷🏻♀️ Consistent watering is important! When about top half or more of soil has dried out..
