Hi all, I have a tall corn plant that is flowering—I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s never done so before. Is this a bad thing? It’s had a lot of brown spot lately, so I’m worried that this is like a garden plant sending up shoots on its way out. Any thoughts appreciated

When I looked it up most of the sites that I saw said that corn plants flower when they are quite happy with their environment and care schedule. So I don’t think it’s a bad thing (although I don’t have one of these myself so I cannot speak from personal experience). Based on what I read, this is probably a good thing, but if you’re worried about it keep monitoring it

Thank you! That’s what I saw with some quick googling too, but the recent spate of leaves with brown spot made it feel unlikely that the plant is so happy! 🤷🏻
