Everybody want right! She has been nothing but trouble since I brought her home. I'm honestly just so overwhelmed with this plant, nothing I do is good enough! 😭 #calathea

They are so needy! I’ve had a network plant for a year and a half that is thriving! I nabbed a white fusion a month ago and have had nothing but problems. It came with spider mites which is super cool. I’m not sure what my care is causing vs. those, but he was rough. I actually ended up removing the soil and making it my first hydro plant. It’s not thriving yet, but it’s definitely not dying as fast lol. I can tell you, Calathea are sensitive to water- try using distilled

There are too many posts on calathea problems. Just search. There is a lot of good advice. Good Luck🍀🪴

Calatheas are beautiful, but such a pain. I brought mine home and it did great for months, and then it got spider mites. I used neem oil on those. Fungus gnats took control, and I used diatomaceous earth on those. Then the lower leaves started dying off like crazy. In a last ditch effort to keep it alive, I switched it to hydro. It’s stopped dying, but it still looks awful. It still gets spider mites every once in a while, and I have no clue where they keep coming from.

Distilled water will help rehab a Calathea. Make sure you also use distilled when fertilizing (if using liquid fertilizer) and misting.
