So I have decided to have one of my new year resolutions be getting into house plants the way I’ve always wanted to. I started a bit early, but I wanted to get everything all set up and a pretty little plant picked out. So here she is, meet Geneva! Excuse the pet hair in the background, hahah. Dogs and cats make it impossible to get rid of. With all that being said, do any other fur parents have recommendations for some low maintenance pet friendly plants?

The two easiest plants I have are: • A false Christmas cactus/thanksgiving cactus • A moth orchid Both are not toxic and super easy to care for. I am honestly shocked neither died while I was trying to figure out this plant business.

I’ll have to look into both! Thank you!

I second the Christmas/thanksgiving cactus! They’re amazing I recommend a parlor palm, they’re basically hands off once you get the hang of watering and my cats love to chew on the discarded leaves of my large one when I trim it back

I’ll definitely have to look into them cuz I love the foliage look of spider plants when they get all big!
