Is it normal for the prayer plant to kinda die during winter time? My plant was doing amazing and now she’s like this. I need suggestions! Please

I’ve been struggling a lot with mine as well, and from the look of the leaves and soil, it looks like yours has a watering imbalance. They tend to curl their leaves when they don’t get enough water, or it may have been going too dry in between waterings. How often have you been watering it? I personally water mine more often than the Planta schedule at this time of year because I find my indoor heating makes them dry out faster. I water them about as often as I did in early fall. Importantly, your plant looks like it’s actually a beauty star calathea, not a prayer plant. The watering schedule is different for those 2 plants ( I water my prayer plants way more often than my calatheas) so it could be that you were previously overwatering it as well.

    Looks like spider mite damage.

I have one at my workplace that’s near a cold window, it always shrivels up and browns over winter and bounces back during spring/summer. Not sure what the person who cares for it does but I think it’s a cold reaction.

Also I think it’s a beauty star Calathea not a maranta
