Anyone else finding the watering schedule for your Amplissimum to be way off? I’m on day 9 and app says wait two more days to water. My plant disagrees. It’s in a 6” pot, but I had it listed as a 5” pot. Just bumped it down again to a 4” pot which tells me 8 days to next watering.
Well I’d listen to the plant. Lol
2 LikesI did and watered it! I should clarify that it said 8 days until next watering after I had watered it, once I reduced pot size to 4”.
0 LikesNo it’s not root bound. I bought two of these as rehabs from Walmart. They were each sparse so I split one of them so I had a full large plant and a full small plant. This is the big one. I repotted with Coast of Maine and extra perlite. It have it listed as never repotted because I noticed that increases the watering frequency schedule.
0 LikesI don’t have an amplissimum, but I do find planta is sometimes pretty sparse with its watering! I just give the plant water when I think it needs it :)
