My fiddle leaf has come quite a way🌱 First got him almost 03 years ago. My plan for this one is to eventually reach a desired height where I will then chop it back to encourage branching. I been trimming bottom leaves to promote growth upwards (I personally like how they look as trees).

What do you do for it? Mine dropped half of its leafs about 5 months ago and about 2 weeks ago i chopped it and its pushing out a little bit of growth. How do you get it to grow so much?

I just recently found the sweet spot for this plant, its worked my patience pretty well🙃 A lot of my new growth for a while had edema on it & much smaller in size. I’ve realized it likes to be pretty dry between waterings so I do it every 15 days. It sits in a chunky soil (all purpose soil+perlite+orchid bark+worm castings+charcoal). I also fertilize every watering/every other watering). It’s in an east window rn but I had it in a west window before this & it was also doing fine (my apt doesn’t have a south window but I’ve read that’s “ideal”)
