I’m a first time plant owner and I feel like I’ve already killed this plant. Any tips?

I don't think you killed it its normal for it to drop its bloom especially when its in a new climate. That can put stress on it and it will drop its bloom so it has more energy for the rest of it. Did u recently repot it?
2 LikesNo I bought this back in the summertime. My cat knocked it over hence the crack in the pot. It’s been in the same pot since summer and it bloomed and now this is where we are. The cats also bit lots of the stems as you can see

Except by the flowers to look like they died of old age I don’t see anything wrong with it

Hmm, not sure. I have one of these and you would normally expect that tongue shaped bit to turn pink before dying back, But it could be to do with the seasons. Don’t give up! If you have a bright kitchen or bathroom window, stick it on there. They love bright, humid environments
0 LikesI had it in the bathroom and my car knocked it over and cracked the pot. So I have it up on a shelf now.
