I gave my alocasia polly fresh potting mix because its old mix was basically mud. Three of its leaves are now dying. Is this just shock from repotting or is there something more going on? It doesn’t have any pests and I didn’t notice rot when I repotted.

It could just be shock. Polys might be the fiddle leaf fig of Alocasia. You mess with those roots too much or do something it doesn’t like and it’ll yeet those leaves like it’s nothing. Mine did this in spring when I moved it from its regular spot to my bedroom. I just harvested the corms and watered the base. Now I have a poly bush. If she croaks again I’ll just start over again…
