Hi, so for Christmas I want to get my mom a plant. She loves them and has a couple. But I don’t know what type to get her. Any ideas? She is really good at taking care of them.

    Does she have a favorite category? Cactus, succulent, tropical, flowering, etc….

    if she likes challenges, I would say any type of Calathea as they have the prettiest foliage IMO. the easiest one i’ve had is the rattlesnake plant. Rubber trees also have cool foliage but are easier maitenance. You can never go wrong with a pothos, they are very easy and grow quickly given the right environment. Fiddle figs are also very popular, but I was only able to keep mine alive for a month. All of these you can find at home depot😊

    If she’s good with plants, I’d recommend an alocasia. They’re pretty fun.
