Hi everyone, I need some advice on my rubber ficus. I had a baby rubber that slowly started losing its leaves and I couldn’t save it :( I have a rubber ficus that was placed in a medium indirect light spot but it is also dropping leaves now. It has been a while since I’ve watered it but the soil is still moist. I just moved it yesterday to a north facing window to get more light to see if that will help. As seen in the picture there are some leaves dropping. Please Help! Any advice?

People might have some more in depth advice, but if the soil is still wet after a while, it might be staying wet too long, check the roots and maybe put it in some well draining soil, i had issues with that specific rubber tree too and that was my issue.

Okay that’s definitely good to know. I just got it maybe a month ago and have watered it maybe once. I will check the roots

Good luck! If u see any root rot take some diluted hydrogen peroxide and cut off any mushy roots

I don’t know anything about the plant but just an fyi, north facing windows get the least amount of light so I’d move it to another window if you want it to have more light
