More recently my cats got into my spider plant and bit all of it’s leaves off. It has had some growth but hasn’t been doing well. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Try placing it into a smaller pot 3” or 4” at most unless the root ball is wider. Spider plants like getting slightly root bound. Add rooting hormone powder to help develop more roots. I, also, add plant vitamins (SuperThrive) once a month to stimulate growth. Regularly fertilize. Move to bright indirect light. They need bright light to retain color. Let at least half the soil dry out between watering. I have a collection of spider babies in recycled nursery pots. Herbs used to grow in those pots. They get morning sunlight.

Thank you for these suggestions, hopefully my spider plant will be back to its former glory soon.
