Hi, is anyone able to give me advice on my orchid leaves going yellow... They don't feel dry. And this has happened a few times, they eventually fall off...

How often are you watering? Orchids do not like too much water. Typically wait until completely dry to lightly water. On an average of every 11-14 days. Soft yellow leaves represent overwatering

It could also be old leaves dying off. It’s the season for that. Definitely check your watering but if it’s one here and there, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Make sure the when you water you avoid getting water in the crevices of the leaves. Also dont water with ice because it is a tropical plant so only use room temp water or warm water. You can also switch to water culture since it is not flowering. To do so just clean the roots very well and get rid of any mushy roots, then put it in a container with enough water to cover the bottom of the roots . Never water the leaves or let the water touch the bottom of where the leaves grow.

I only water when the root system is completely silver. I hope this helps :)
