   Hang it where cat cant reach. Spray cat and say “no“ to cat.

     That’s what I do. Also, try getting a plant that cats can and are meant to chomp on.

     Spiderplants are in the grass family, has a psychedelic effect like catnip.. but obviously you don’t want your cat to chew on it 😂 Hang up high. Maybe plant some cat grass
