Not sure what kind of plant this is. I had to remove a lot of leaves due to an infestation. (It’s under control now) Wondering if I cut the plant down will it continue to grow tall with more leaves or will that kill it?

It looks like a Kalinchoe. My experience has been that they tend to grow like this if they do not have proper lighting.

Had the same issue I cut it down and propagated the individual nodes and stem and it worked out wonderfully!

I also used root growth hormone powder for the main stem. Should work without but I found it helpful.

I think it’s a kalanchoe also! I’ve propagated mine a million times if it starts getting droopy or dropping leaves and it’s always comes back 💚
0 likesYou can definitely cut it a couple of times to get more plants! If it was a mealy bug infestation, make sure you check it and spray it with alcohol again in 6 months. Those buggers take a long time to totally eradicate. Good luck!
