Ahaha relatable. Sadly it’s probably a sign of something something is wrong, like light burn or nutrient deficiency. Are they hardening off though? Or staying tender?

they're both very soft, not really hardening, which is why i thought they were variegated for a second but i'm not sure

I keep looking at the pictures. Now I’m not sure either 😂 I mean, I seems unlikely so get full variegated leaves on a formerly full green plant 🤔 But forever hopeful that it’ll happen, am I right? Lol. But it also doesn’t look quite like burns or deficiencies that I’ve seen before in my own plants

Maybe someone else will chime in. I don’t have this particular kind of monstera myself. Some species of plants have their own specific quirks

this happens to monstera when there isn’t enough nutrients in the soil. these leaves will probably die completely but if you add fertilizer now the next ones will most likely be strong and healthy

Alright! I usually add super thrive, i know that isn't technically nutrients though so i should look into some. Every other new leaf on her though is bright green and good, sooo maybe those leaves just got unlucky 😅
