I thought of a really cool idea (at least I think it is) where everyone can share their favorite plant-related places so we all make a sort of plant themed bucket list! But then I realized people might not want to reveal their locations 😅 sooo feel free to share plant places that you love, even if they aren’t where you live - say you went on vacation and loved a store or botanical garden. I will start! In Asheville, North Carolina, I love the Biltmore Estate Botanical Garden and Greenhouse! Additionally, I really enjoy Rose’s Garden Store (also in Asheville).

Omg I think I drove by Biltmore Estate on a drive from NH to FL. I wanted to stop so bad! I got out-voted due to time constraints. We were going to see our elderly grandparents, so it wasn’t really a stop and look around sort of road-trip Near me, I recommend New England Botanical Gardens at Tower Hill and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens My wishlist trip is Kew in London but I’ve never been to the UK

I’m going to London for the first time soon! But I’m not sure if Kew is worth it in the winter.. if anyone has been in winter lmk. In pictures I’ve just seen a bunch of Christmas decor and not many plants 😭 I’m so excited abt all of these recommendations 😆

During my trip to London I am for sure planning to go to an exhibition by Ranjani Shettar at the Barbican Conservatory! It looks AMAZING. Unfortunately, it’s only for a limited amount of time so I hope I can get tickets. The sculptures compliment the plants so well I think they should be permanent fixtures tbh. And they add something quite special. And I’m an artist so art among plants is top tier. Almost everywhere else I’m visiting is art related 😅 it’s such a bummer I can’t ship plants back home

Longwood gardens in kennett square, Pa is always impressive any time of year. The Philadelphia flower show is always a stunner as well. I believe it’s in early March. Cylburn arboretum near baltimore maryland is very beautiful also.

Volunteer Park Conservatory. I lived in Seattle for 10 years and never knew this was there. Now I live further south, but on my last trip there I drug a friend. It was small and amazing. Their pic not mine…..

I live outside of metro Denver. My favorite place to visit locally is the Denver Botanical Gardens & I spend to much money at our Tagawa Garden Center. ☺️ I grew up in Europe so I’ve seen beautiful gardens at Versailles and the like, and family members had gorgeous gardens as well. Living in Colorado is the best place to be & feel like a part of nature.
