Hello! My oxalis had thrips and went dormant over the summer from shock. It is now growing healthy leaves and losing the last few damaged ones. I noticed that four sets of blooms are coming in (one is already open). Considering the longevity of my plant, should I cut off some of the blooms to reserve energy for foliage growth??

if you want to, but for me the blooms are the second best part of my oxalis, after the pretty leaves. however, if you feel like you don’t have enough foliage you could try, but it might just send out more flower spikes.

I agree, they’re so beautiful! I just didn’t want to harm the plant :) thanks for the advice

These plants are super resilient, enjoy the flowers and the rest of the plant will be just fine!
