When do you think I should bring plants in from this enclosed porch?… | Anything about plants | Planta community

When do you think I should bring plants in from this enclosed porch? It’s double glazed but with no heating and it’s starting to feel chilly in the mornings, but no frost yet. I definitely think the monstera and mini monstera should come in soon. Not sure about the cactus or succulents. What do you think, clever planty people?

Anyway you could get a tiny space heater? If it was me, I’d hate to lose that space. If it’s getting colder than 60 out there, I would definitely bring everything in.

That’s stinks. I’m with you about leaving them on unattended. Too bad they don’t make solar ones. I would bring them in though. Where do you live that you use Celsius? Just nosey.

I’m in the UK, on the south coast 😊 We won’t see much snow but it does get pretty cold in winter.

I get that. I’m in Massachusetts in the USA and it went down to 26° last night and it’s only November. No snow yet, thank God.

We had snow in New Hampshire earlier this week 🥲😂 That is such a cute space for plants. It is too bad that it’s not 4 seasons, but it’s still lovely with the plants for 3 season I bet

About how cold does it get in that room at night? if it’s less than 10 degrees celsius, I would relocate them. That’s translates to about 50 degrees in fahrenheit and I know many people will keep them around that. I don’t like to keep mine below 50 d Fahrenheit = 10 celsius

It will get to 0 Celsius by December; it’s probably about 10 at night at the moment. So today I’m trying to find spots inside with enough light for them all.

Do you happen to have a grow light? if not, you may want to consider one if you can’t find the right spots for them.

I’ve got 3 now! I’ll cluster the extra plants in 😊

I think once the first frost sets in and they feel the 32-35 F temperature the succulents and cacti are good to come in. Something about them knowing it’s time to go to sleep
