My pothos looks a little wilted, and some of the leaves are turning black. Anyone know what is going on with my pothos, the soil was very hard so I just watered hoping it will loosen up soil, but anybody have any advice.

I find that my neon needs more frequent watering and will wilt a lot faster than my other pothos. I had the same issues with the leaves so I moved it to a less sunny spot and it did much better. Also if the soil is hard, I use a skewer to aerate the soil before watering and let it soak for a while in a tray before draining.

Hi! I always make sure to aerate the soil with a little wooden skewer before watering.

Try adding perlite, coco coir, sharp sand or other material to break up the soil. I have had topsoil crust over when it lacked drainage material and had to much clay soil. Clay soil is pliable when when. But, it dries to a hard crust.
