Is a grow light worth it? I live in a one bedroom NYC apartment so it’s a small space. I don’t have many plants at this point because some have died over the years, the only larger plants are my monstera and snake plant. Is a grow light worth getting with such a small collection? Sometimes I wonder if it would help growth, but I can’t have it on at all hours since the plants are in my bedroom (the only place sunlight comes in, unfortunately.) Just looking for some practical advice, thanks!

There is no such thing as a green thumb, there is only people with big windows and grow lights vs people without

I got a grow light specifically for my monstera now that it’s winter. And I’ve already seen growth in 4 weeks! She’s about to give me a new leaf within like a day or so!!

I recommend. I just purchased my first grow light about 2 weeks ago for a money tree that was showing signs of needing more light during the winter. It has since grown new growths, perkier stems and looks so much healthier that I may continue to use it throughout the year. After one grow light I bought another because I think it will help a couple other plants through the winter. I got the “LORDEM Grow Light, Full Spectrum LED” off Amazon.

Grow lights are inexpensive considering the rising cost of everything these days. They give you freedom to place your plants in any room. They have built in timers to give more hours of light than the winter sun and it shows in plant health.
