I’m not sure if this is a dumb question or not but I’m pretty sure this is a golden pothos I just don’t know why it’s so light in comparison to my other golden pothos and a majority of others I’ve seen? Is it a different variation of the same plant? I’m just curious is allšŸ˜šŸ’š

I wanna say yes I just think it might be highly variegated. Some golden pothos have light colors instead of the yellow. Did you just get it?

Oooo okay! That might be it then! I’m so stuck on whether it’s a golden pothos or a marble queen😭 and yeah I got her about 1.5 weeks ago

I have a golden in the back and a marble queen in the front so from what it looks, your plant looks very similar to the marble queen

That’s what I thought when I bought her but whenever I tried to identify through Planta or google or anything it kept saying golden pothos😭

ThT is probably just all they have in the data base or whatever. Maybe search by name

it’s definitely a golden pothos. their variegation will get light like this when they get lots of sun. it’s genetic variegation, inherent to this species, so the amount of light will affect the color of the new leaves. keep it in shade and it will likely grow all green leaves

held my golden pothos near the grow light so you can see her variegation. the watercolor-like freckles of yellow and white look almost the same as yours. these leaves grew when it was about 4 or 5 feet from a southeast window. if you’d like yours to continue growing highly variegated leaves i’d recommend placing her right near a window
