Can anyone tell me how long I should keep my LED Lights on. I am currently have them set for 16 hours a day. Is this too much. Most of the plants are doing great but my bird of paradise seems to be getting brown edges and curling leaves. Is it getting too much light?

Several things can cause dry leaves from insufficient water to low humidity. Intense light exposure can cause sunburn to the leaves/stems closest to the light source. Shaded leaves and leaves away from the light source turning crispy along the edges are probably not caused by sunburn.

About 6 hours to 8 hours of daylight is sufficient for plants during the colder months.

I would do 14 hours max if you’re trying to mimic the summertime daylight

Yes. I had the same problem. But it survived. I was not what cause it. I didn’t know if it was the grow light or the draftiness of the location I placed the plant. 🤷🏾

Maybe just move it a lil farther from the light. I keep mine on for 12 hours
