This plant needs attention. Please tell me what I might try. Leaves are not consistently green and purple. Does losing their true color mean she’s not getting enough light? I’m trying to only use filtered water because edges of leaves are brown. Advice welcome. I feel I don’t know how to care for her. She has drainage. Frustrated with the inconsistency of the appearance, but maybe it’s normal.

Mine was dying when I bought her so I chopped her and put her in water in a bright spot but no direct sunlight. Then she started growing green so I moved her to the window sill with direct sunlight and now she’s going full purple

If it’s losing its purple, it’s lacking light.

Full sun will bring back the color unless it’s lack of fertilizer causing the loss of color. Tradescantias typically are not sensitive to tap water. The drying leaves could be insufficient water, being root bound or low humidity.
