Hello everyone! I currently have an albo monstera, the leaf is turning yellow, it’s a cutting but the roots are crazy long. The cutting keeps getting root rot. I’ve cut it off, sprayed with hydrogen peroxide and nothing. Still rotting. Any tips? She’s potting in sphagmoss. She’s under a red and white light for 12 hrs a day.

If your not removing enough of it, it will continue to rot. I would maybe cut the rot off and let it dry it out before you before it back in the moss.

I cut it off 3 times i even added cinnamon to the cut part and then did the glue and then i did anti rot on the roots. I’ll let it dry out over night and put in back in with new moss. Thank you.

Put it in water near bright light 🤷🏾‍♀️ that’s my go-to for one that needs saving

Have you propagated in that particular moss before? She doesn’t seem to like it.

I successfully propagated this but had to give up on the moss. I used half potting soil and half perlite and had no more rot. It was stressful but I am now thrilled. Mine was a leafless node with a long root. I also keep it under lights and near humidifier.

Good luck. I had to cut off rot also and I did let it dry out overnight.
