The soil on my Lucky Bamboo ‘Gold’ has been getting super hard faster than usual, is that a sign to repot with new soil? I’ve only had him for 5 months.

      just added one. i should have taken a photo before I watered it, but i forgot

    Looks like regular potting soil. No amendments. The plant looks healthy and happy. Check the roots. Make sure it doesn’t need a repot. But the plant doesn’t seem to mind.

    You could try aerating it by gently poking holes all over the soil with a stick. I use a bamboo skewer.
