Does this look like pest damage on my peace lily? Thrips possibly? Relatively new plant owner and never dealt with pests before so needing some advice! I didn’t see any of the specs move whatsoever on the leaves however the other day I did see a couple of whitish tiny tiny bugs moving around in her soil after watering

Yes thrips. Isolate from any other plants. Spray the plant down with water and then follow up with a soap/alcohol/water mix. Spray everything to the point it is dripping. Wait a little bit then rinse with water. Do that about every 4 or so until you no longer see them. Then do it for 2 weeks more to make sure. Long term protection, systemic granules. You can sprinkle them on and they are good for long term prevention. Good luck!!

Whether it’s thrips, mites, or mealybugs, soapy Dawn dishwater kills all of them. Spray the entire plant, soil, under the pot, nearby plants and the area where the pot used to be. Spray once a week until no new damage is seen. Wash hands after handling the suspect plants. Good luck. 🍀
