What’s the best way to get peppermint plants to grow

    My grandma has one and she just kind of doesn’t mess with it and it doesn’t get much water maybe once a week maybe full sun outside in a big pot and hers is doing fine and is big idk if this helps but 🤷🏻‍♀️

    My Peppermint in small pots under 8 inches had a high demand for water because it grew like a weed. I quickly repotted when it flowed over the edge of the pot and started invading the gardens and lawn like a weed that was very difficult to remove. I eventually put it in a 14 ceramic pot on concrete away from my lawn! I fertilize it to encourage growth because I trim it often for cooking/teas. Peppermint thrives outside. I live in zone 9. The plant likes full sunlight for at least 6 hours daily and I water often in summer. I water less in winter.
