My Hostas are looking very withered. Should they be cut back or should I leave them alone? I live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

That’s normal for hostas outside this time of year. I let them fully dry out and then trim them back

chicago, i’ve had them in my front yard for years i leave them alone completely so they can spread their seed n my walkway looks beautiful every spring- fall i only clean once they’re completely dry then i take the dry bits n harvest seeds if i can :-)

Do you start the seeds inside over winter? I’ve always dug up shoot offs from mine but can’t do that physically anymore.
