I got this plant a little while ago and was wondering what kind of hoya it is? When I purchased it online, it was listed as a variegated hoya Chelsea but I feel like the Chelsea leaves are a bit rounder.

It’s hard to tell with a small cutting because the variegated carnosas look alike. They all have multi shaped leaves. The picture shows all Hoya Carnosa Chelsea Variegated plants except one. The exception is the Queen which has rounded dimpled leaves too. You will have to wait until the plant is larger to confirm.

I don’t have the variegated Chelsea but I have the splash and a very large lrimson queen. It’s looks more like the Krimson queen to me. It’s missing the signature dimples that the Chelsea has. You probably won’t be able to tell until it grows out more. Can you ask for a picture of the mother plant. That might be able to tell you.

I purchased a coffee plant once online from a reputable plant nursery and it took me months to realize that it was not a coffee plant at all but actually a Hoya multiflora. I only realized after the Hoya bloomed! Lol.
