Hi everyone! I only have 4 plants on plants right now but I want to eventually get more. I have an important orchid I really like right now but it’s not doing well. Should I get planta premium? I’m nervous about some of the features not working well such as light meter and dr planta. Can anyone let me know who has experience with plants pro? Thanks!! :)

To be honest, I pretty much just use premium to keep track of fertilizing. I have such a big collection, it would be a lot of work for me to calculate and keep track of who needs what when. I haven’t really used the light meter. I feel like most plants are going to want to be in your brightest window and still want a grow light. But that might just be me having a lot of high-light plants. I haven’t used Dr. Planta since it was more in the beta testing era, so it might be better. But at first it was like, every problem is either under or overwatering. It could be helpful for identifying pests if you don’t already have that knowledge. If you do go for it, look for promotions online. Good luck with your orchid!

Dr Planta is rubbish! Don’t spend the money for that feature. You can also buy light meters that are probably better than the app.

Ms Orchid Girl in YouTube will teach you all about keeping your orchid happy. She really is very good

You are better off spending that money on your orchid needs than the app šŸ˜… you will most likely need to repot into good medium and a nice pot

I’ve never had premium so I can only say that the free version is working for me just fine! I know when it’s time to fertilize because a ā€œpremium taskā€ will pop up.
