Hi everyone, I need some advice/tips! I have my snake plant in a terracotta pot and lately it’s been growing mold on the pot. Last time this happened I freaked out and repotted the plant and tossed the pot. Is there anything I can do besides that? I cleaned it away with vinegar and water but I’m not sure if this will keep it away. Sooo what do I do? Thank you!

Ugh. Mine too. I’ve used HP, vinegar, etc. it always comes back. Seeing as the pot is designed to pull moisture out and I’m not going to get around that I’ve decided to just let it be unless the plant starts to show negative signs. If you find a solution though, let me know!

Oh ok. Yeah. Snake plants don’t usually get watered enough to grow mold. But terracotta does absorb water. The white stuff is usually mineral deposits from the water. They can get pretty narly. But it usually doesn’t hurt the plant
