I am getting these little white crystal / powdery spots on both the bottom and top of the leaves on my rubber plant. The leaf at the bottom just fell off… please advise on what this is and how to get rid of it. Are my other plants at risk of this as well??

It’s powdery mildew. It can be spread between plants. To get rid of it, mix 1 tablespoon baking soda with ½ teaspoon liquid soap in 1 gallon of water. Then spray it on the leaves and clean them off

Thank you! Is it likely for this to keep reoccurring or should it subside after this treatment?

I’m wondering if it could be Mealybug?

Not powdery mildew which looks like dirty powder on the leaves. It’s definitely mealy bugs. You might see an adult if you look carefully on the plant, on the soil or areas nearby. They quickly spread and suck the sap from the plant before moving on to other plants. I recommend isolating the plant. Spray with new oil or soapy dishwater once a week until they are gone. You can also apply rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab each adult and those cocoon things to immediately kill them. Clean your hands to avoid spreading them to other plants. Bugs typically arrive with new plants or come from plants that spend time outdoors. I always quarantine new plants about a month. I spray with soapy water all plants coming into the house. I spray all of it including the soil and under the pots. I’ve fought plant hitchhikers more times than I care to remember. Good look. 🍀
