We have this Syngonium at work that is obviously in dire need of repotting. My question is .. how would you do it? It appears to have a well established healthy looking root system but the long bare stems make me wonder if it would be better to cut, root and then pot? Or can I just bury most of the bare part of the stems in new soil and let them provide more/new healthy roots? There are a lot of arial nubs that look perfect for rooting. Just not sure what the best option is… and yes, I know it’s very under-watered at the moment. Definitely needs some rescue tlc which is what I plan to do. Thanks in advance.

You could cut that long stem at the nodes and propagate the plant. Once each piece roots you could put it back in the pot to make it bushier. The reason they get so leggy and long with no few leaves like that is like of light. It must be struggling to find light

It actually has good lighting through the day. I just think with it so shallow of a container and more roots then soil that too often it gets too much water and then not enough so a lot of the leaves turned brown and limp during off.
