My ponytail palm didn’t do well when I first got it, but I think it’s stabilizing now. It’s got some new growth at the top. However, it’s still got some half brown straggly parts. Should I cut them off just where they’re brown, or at the base of the leaf?

It’s up to you.. I remove the entire leaf at the base.

it looks stressed so i’d jus go through n pick off whatever falls n repeat every day until u get to the base, the dried leaves will reinforce the trunk so try not to take those off all the way

What caused the brown palm leaves and has that been corrected? You should fix the main issue or you will be plucking brown leaves faster than the new ones can grow. I know from experience of a ponytail palm owner. 😅

I think it just needed to adjust to a lower light level, hence the new growth lately but I haven’t changed anything.
