I have a question I have been trying to look up is I can you led strips that change colors and stuff to use a grow lights for the winter. For some of my tropical plants that can’t be outside anymore. I can’t not afford to buy grow lights so I am trying to look for other ways so my plants don’t die since they require 8+ lighting.

Hmm I would think it wouldn’t be bright enough, but I’m not sure. I suppose they could provide a little boost. One solution that’s one the cheaper side is LED grow bulbs. They come in a range of prices, but a cheap one at Walmart/Lowes/Home Depot/Amazon should be around $5 and fit in any regular sized lamp fixture you may already have

That’s my other problem I live in an apartment so I don’t have many outfits or light fixtures and the sun only really hits my back porch which is where most of these plants live

I feel ya! My apartment has a ridiculously low number of outlets. It drives me nuts

I’d go get a lamp for goodwill & then go get the cheap grow light from the other persons comment. You could get a lamp at goodwill for like $5. 😁

My suggestion is to buy normal light fixtures and get a special bulb 💡 works greay
