Is there a function in the Planta app that calculates the amount of water needed for each plant? Not just how often to water. I know my other app PlantIn can calculate the much water is needed based on type of llant, pot size, soil type, light etc.
Your safe to water thoroughly as long as you have good drainage and let your pots drain fully and not sit in water. You do want to watch out for how frequently your watering. You can always use terracotta pots if you tend to overwater.

Yes, this! Overwatering isn’t about quantity, but instead frequency and lack of oxygen (compact soil and lack of drainage)

I bought a water meter on Amazon that I have found super helpful! I saw my nephew using one and i had never heard of them before.
