Looking for a hanging plant that can handle full sun in a south facing window. I’m fairly new so an easy to medium care will do. I love foliage but not great with flowers. Someone suggested a spider plant. What is your favourite window hanging plant?

There are a few types of Hoya that can handle this - sunrise for sure. Jungle cactus or rat tail cactus. String of pearls. String of hearts. Burros tail

My lounge chair of coleus plants need water so they are imitating hanging basket plants. They get darker and vibrant in full sun.

Trailing coleus plants, like this trailing monarch, are built to sprawl over pots and hanging baskets. Mine is bound with twine to prevent the sprawl. I don’t have window space.

Sweet potato vines, Ipomoeas, are sun lovers being a vegetable producer. They come in vibrant greens and dark burgundy colors. This one grew from a 1 ft cutting this summer in very hot temperatures. It shares a 5 gal pot with other plants. It will flourish in south facing windows. It also dramatically droops when thirsty. No need to guess if it needs water.
