I’m trying to log two plants that don’t seem to exist in the app—any thoughts? One is a sweet and sour peperomia and the other is a pixie punk spider plant. Halp!

    Had the same trouble with my alocasia watsoniana, try find it’s closest relative and use that one instead, but make sure to research on the internet about the plant anyway!! The app can be a bit unreliable 🥲

      I guess spider plants are mostly all the same lol—the peperomia is annoying tho that I can’t find it. I mostly want to just track watering and progress so I guess anything similar is close enough!

      For the watering, a general rule of thumb is to just check when you water your similar plants, or you can buy clear plastic pots, I have them and they are great at seeing water saturation.

      Yep! Also, be sure to request them to add your plant! They added one that I requested about a year ago but it was worth it!

    I used to have this plant and I believe Peperomia obtusifolia variegata was what I used! Sometimes googling the plant and finding other “names” for it works for me. Or at least helps me get close

      I’ve looked for the obtusifolia name and it doesn’t seem to be in here. But I have seen some variegated versions—I’ll go with something like that. Thanks!!
