Help pls! Got this plant as a housewarming gift. I’ve tried to research how to take care of it, as I know these can be difficult to care for. However, I’m not sure what this is, or why it’s coloring like that? Any help is appreciated, I just wanna do my best to keep her alive! Thanks in advance, any tips for this are appreciated.

The brown stuff on the stems? They used to protect the leaves before they developed 😊 so perfectly normal 🤗
