Hi guys!! I’m completely new to this plant stuff but my fiancé got me a snake plant to put at my desk at work, I was hoping to make our classroom more green!! I’m wondering what plants you guys can recommend that aren’t super hard to take care of and can go a weekend without getting water!!

succulents ! don’t have to water as often, keep them by your window for some indirect light 🤍

If you have some good windows/lighting, succulents are great 😁 they can grow pretty quick and only need watering about once a month.

Air plants are also supposed to be really easy, I’m just bad at them myself for some reason 😅

This will totally depend on how much light you have but ZZs and snake plants will probably go the longest without water. Each of mine get watered maybe once every month, give it take. When plants have more light, they’ll need more water - that goes for any type of plant! My Lucky Bamboo is growing in just water and I change out the water every 3-4 weeks. If you don’t have a lot of light, Lucky Bamboo are great. They don’t like a lot of light actually. They need some but not a lot.

I haven’t watered my ZZ in months, and the rhizomes are still plump! My lucky bamboo has been growing in my north facing window for the past three years and is doing amazing! It’s almost too tall for the window. I’m thinking about switching it to water

yeah my ZZ is amazing like that. basically ignore it and you’re good, haha. Same with my lucky bamboo. it’s about 8’ from my east facing kitchen window and is so happy there.

Pothos! And if you have lots of sun, succulents are great.
