Plant Mumma

Hi Planty peeps! I have this gorgeous Banana plant which is thriving to the extent I have two miniature ones growing underneath the main one. When would you advise taking these out and sowing them as individual plants? One of them looks a bit cramped. They’ve surprised me in how well and how quickly they’ve popped up!

Cut off the side shoots when they are as large as they can get without choking out the mother plant. A larger plant will have a better chance to survive. Let the cut section dry before replanting.

Thank you. I’ll let them keep going then!
