I was given this spider plant when it was an absolute baby. It has been doing so well and it’s 10 times the size it was when I first received it. However, recently, the leaves have started to bend and crack, and the stock of the plant seems floppy like it’s not well supported. Does this mean I need to repot it? Or is it possible it’s not getting enough light? I recently moved it to a lower light area in my house. Plenty of indirect light, but no direct light. Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated.

My curly Bonnie Spiderplant does that leaf cracking thing when the leaves just get heavy. That pot doesn’t look too small for it & they like to be kind of snug in their pots. You could try getting some small tomato support cages? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I did that for my Amaryllis.. 😂 Looks strange but it works

This is perfectly normal and how spider plants grow. They do bend and crack a little. The indirect should be plenty.

It’s looks a little pale. The green parts should be much darker. Could be lack of fertilizer or too much sun. They like bright indirect or filtered light. They can take early morning sun (before 9am) or late afternoon (right before sunset) when the sun is less intense. I use timed release fertilizer (Osmocote) that works well. It may need more watering if the tips are drying as well as the leaves cracking. Thoroughly water when the soil is dry one or two inches.

My curly spider plant got dry spots when I was out of town three days. You can see the dry spots, dry tips and cracks on the leaves.

The tips of spider plants get dry when regular tap water is used. I personally will not go through the effort of buying filtered water for a plant! Letting your water sit for a day will help the chlorine evaporate and that will help. I have my water in a gallon jug just sitting around because I add my fertilizer and BTI drops so when I water my spider, the water has been sitting around for at least a day and I’ve noticed an improvement in the tips.
