Does anyone know if you can put tape on a plant leaf that ripped while unfurling?

    I have tried but I haven’t had any luck yet 🥲 I have a philodendron that fell over and bent the newest leaf in half. Surprisingly the leaf is still alive, but taping a splint to it didn’t make the stem heal up straight
