Can anyone help me identify this extremely dramatic plant? This is the day I got him (Friday), Tuesday night (after not being watered since Friday), and then this morning (Wednesday).

melI’m not entirely positive but she might be a ficus microcarpa. It would definitely explain the dramatic theatrics if she was a ficus!

That’s exactly what his leaves look like! He doesn’t have the same stem/tuber look, but this is enormously helpful! 🌱

Plant Fatherlooks almost like a juvenile ardisia to me, they are very dramatic plants too. we also have a plant identification group now for future id questions :-)
