Being a human, I did a thing I regret, which was (I donāt even want to admit it) to pluck the last part of the dead stem. It was just kind of wiggling back and forth and didnāt seem attached. I got eight months of cold shoulder from Battle Royale after that. I thought oh god, does it take five years to grow a new one, and I just destroyed progress? Seeing this split gave me some relief.
