They don’t actually crush into anything, just onto itself

Fern <3It’s hard to tell. Can you remove them or are they starches in the soils. My guesses on what they may be: Oldperlite, bug eggs, mushrooms, or something dropped from the plant???? Just my guesses!

Well that eliminates mushrooms. Either way- whatever’s they may be- remove them. It wouldn’t hurt!

If hollow, they are old fertilizer pellets.
