These were just given to me from a friend. I’m still a bit of a beginner. I have no clue what these are Or exactly how to pot them. I keep scanning it on the app and it says “dieffenbachia compacta” but I don’t think that is right. The stems did not look the same. So if anyone could help out on identifying them that would be incredible!

I agree it’s a Dieffenbachia. Maybe a “Camilla.” Be cautious if you break a leaf or stem since the plant can be harmful to people and pets

It’s a dieffenbachia. The stems look different because it’s very stretched out. Your friend probably had it in a very low light situation. Make sure to slowly move it to a brighter location so it doesn’t burn. It thrives on bright indirect light

You can prune it into smaller segments and use for propagation. Just make sure each cutting has at least a node from where it can grow roots.
