No chance it was exposed to extreme temperatures, either hot or cold? How are the roots? Any sign of root rot?

I will admit I am not sure how the roots are doing. Been so busy lately I haven’t had any time to do much with it. Thinking it may be time for a bigger pot but I couldn’t imagine it would cause this and only on one or two leaves. Bizarre to me. In terms of temperature, I has been hot but it’s also been in the shade outside on my back deck so I really don’t know. I hope it’s nothing serious. I cut off the leaf(ves) that were affected. Let’s hope it doesn’t do anymore.

Well repotting will give you a chance to evaluate more of the plant. I hope it does turn out to just be two weird leaves. I just got a philodendron that was super over watered at the greenhouse. It seemed fine after I repotted it, but then the next round of leaves all had black tips when they came out of the sheaf. Thats why I thought our cases might both be related to root rot. Hopefully both our plants get better and grow normal leaves next!
